Our launch party was a blast! The trivia event was a complete success, and all members enjoyed chatting about the game in the Special Occasion Meeting Room. We found out a lot about the game from a real player - SimCrazed - the first iCreate member to get and play the game. We talked about goals for our game, the insanity to result from not getting it yet, and every other topic under the sun.

We're looking forward to playing the game and discussing it more!

Why can't people wait? It has been confirmed that The Sims 3 has been pirated just weeks before the actual release date. This may encourage EA to use more substantial security packages...do I need mention SecuROM? All we can do is wait and pay for it the legal way. Please, if you come across a illegal copy, don't buy it. Be fair.

Information was released today about The Sims Resource. Sources say that a representitive of TSR hacked into an account at MTS2 because of a disagreement about the ownership of some meshes, UV mapping, and some textures. For more information on the story, visit the link below.

Three new Sims 3 shots have been found! With only a couple of months left before the new release date, we will hopefully be seeing some new screenshots and videos coming in soon!

In just a few short months, we will be approaching our one-year anniversary! By then, we plan to have well over 100 members. This month, we've got our new themed contest up called "Spring Has Sprung." Make a collage of all of your spring pictures (doesn't have to be sim-related) and post in the current thread. Prizes will include karma, simoleans, and one free business! Also in the news, our Scary Movie Night is coming up Friday, March 13, 2009. We're debating on a movie we want to watch, so get your opinions in! Our Memberthon date is to be announced. If you have a suggestion for the specific date, don't forget to tell us! We need your input!
